Privacy

Will it be good is in private alpha. This page is short and honest: we store as little as we need to run the prediction game.

What we store

When you create an account we store:

• Your email address (for sign-in and password reset).
• A chosen username and avatar emoji.
• Your predictions (star rating, Rotten Tomatoes score, optional note) and timestamps.
• The invite code you used to join.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and Google account id. We do not request profile photos, contacts, or any other Google data.

What we don't store

• Payment information — the alpha is free.
• Location data.
• Third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Who can see your data

Your username, avatar, accuracy, and individual predictions are public once a movie releases — that's the whole point of the leaderboard. Your email and the specific invite code you used are private to you and the project owners.

Cookies & local storage

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember which anonymous predictions belong to you before you create an account. No analytics cookies.

Deleting your account

Email hello@willitbegood.app and we'll delete your account and predictions within 7 days.

Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date if anything changes. If the change is material, we'll also notify signed-in users in the app.
